Why give to the Endangered Species Fund?
By giving to the Endangered Species Fund, you help protect endangered wildlife by supporting the rangers who stand between vulnerable species and extinction. Your donation provides practical essentials—from reliable clothing and personal equipment to supplies that support rangers’ health and well-being. As a small, volunteer-led charity, we work closely with trusted conservation partners to ensure support reaches those who need it. Every gift, no matter the size, strengthens the people protecting wildlife on the ground. Together, we can give endangered species a safer future.
How Donations Contribute:
The bulk of our funds go to strengthening frontline conservation by providing rangers with essential personal equipment, field supplies, and welfare support. We also provide organizational support to improve the effectiveness of day-to-day management.

Donating to Other Programs and Partner Organizations.
Many donors have found that we provide an easy way to send donations to overseas conservation organizations.
IMPORTANT. If you want to claim a tax deduction, you can express a wish as to how you would like the funds to be used, but you cannot EARMARK them to go only to that cause or overseas charity. Because your donation is made to the Endangered Species Fund, our board of directors must decide how your funds are used; common sense suggests we support your generosity. If you have questions, please contact us here.

How we process your donations.
We are a US-registered charity, EIN 46-4938570. Our 501(c)(3) status allows us to make grants to overseas conservation organizations. US taxpayers can take a tax deduction for their contribution.
IMPORTANT. If you want to claim a tax deduction, you can express a wish as to how you would like the funds to be used, but you cannot EARMARK them to only go to that cause or overseas charity. How your funds are used is at the discretion of our board of directors.
As a 501(c)(3), we make an annual financial report to the IRS on Form 990. This form is made available to the public here.
